Activities:

In between this time, we were actually have a few other meetings that we didn’t record, because it was quite often Dinda, Frits and Mario discussed things on the spot and on msn. We have actually sent our proposal today. However, we were not quite happy with the design outcomes that we are going to do. Therefore we were looking at other possibilities for the 3 design outcomes and also confirming that the three of us are actually on the same page.

Plan:

• Find out what types of binding we are going to do, packaging.
• Each of us to keep working on the design outcome and get some feedback from the weekly panel.

Activities:

1. We developed a fixed plan on what’s going to be our third research method and rough ideas about the design solutions

Plan:
We’ll be conducting a focus group on Saturday, 3rd at Frits’s place. Therefore we need:

• Individuals to develop set of questions for focus group and do some montages
• Mario to print out the set of pictures + Introduction notes + questionares
• Frits and Dinda to confirm the 4 participants to attend the focus group

1. Discuss some possible experiments that we can do as part of our research method #2

1. The discussion with Nicki had given us more ideas on what we can experiment with. In our group meeting we spent time to actually refined our abstract together and list of possible research topics that we can cover.

2. Assembled the survey questions and submit it to Keith

Next meeting plan:

• Each individuals to find some interesting medium for inspiration
• Mario or Dinda to design the survey in Zoomerang

Activities:

1. After the discussion we had with Keith, we are interested in expanding the function of a particular medium to perform multiple tasks. We have also have a rough ideas on what’s going to be the design outcomes.

Next meeting plan:

• Produce questioner and collate them as one
• Rewrite the abstract and present it to Nicki

Activities:

1. Produced one map to show what mediums, forms and content we would like to focus on.
2. Refined our second research method: Dinda and Frits have an idea that can be refined.

1. After we had a discussion with Nicky, we decided to go a bit further with our topic research. Again, we have refined our topic to “The Interpretation of Language in Different Contexts and Mediums”

• Each of us will produce a map – listing all possible mediums, forms, and content that we would like to focus on, and collate them in one document.
• Refine research method to propose to Keith
